Advice line services

enlightenHR offers unlimited support and advice to its clients on the basis of an annual subscription, with the client designating key personnel who may contact enlightenHR to access the service.

The essence of the service is that you should feel as though enlightenHR is your own HR department, integral to your business, knowing you, your business, your previous issues, your particular staffing profile and the capabilities of your management team; you will always speak to your designated adviser, or their designated substitute, whom you will normally have met prior to the commencement of the contract, or at the very least within the first month of the start of the contract.

Each of our advisors is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development with at least 5 years experience of working in operational HR at a senior level. They are pragmatic, business orientated individuals whose focus is to find the right solutions for you and your business; explaining the legal requirements in easy to understand language and identifying and advising on risks where these exist.

The service offering:

The advice line is available between 08:00 and 20:00, 6 days a week. If your adviser is temporally unavailable, you will be able to leave a message and they will return your call within 2 hours; alternatively if you need to speak to someone immediately you will be able to speak to their designated substitute or a member of the head office team, both of whom will be fully conversant with your business.

The telephone advice service allows you to access support, information and advice on issues of immediate concern – e.g. a disciplinary matter or those “HELP!” moments, providing step-by-step coaching to deal with a particular issue, supporting you at each stage and planning the next step with you or to be a sounding board in the first developmental phase of your thinking on a particular issue, project or plan – e.g. policy matters, restructuring and so on.

In support of the advice given you will receive access to our members’ area on the website where you will find a complete suite of useful documents from Contracts and Offer Letters, to Policies and Procedures and our advisors will be happy to help you personalise these for your business.

The support and advice line will provide you and your management team with the most up-to-date information and help to enable you to make decisions and take action in managing the people elements of your business.
